thank you for all the nice comments, we do love our little man and think he is just the best. we do have the pic of him and the little girl framed and on the wall

the girl in the picture is our daughter, we got puppy when i was pregnant with her, my husband rescued him from disgusting conditions when he was just 5 weeks old, he was the sickest saddest little thing you ever saw, but with lots of love and vet bills he is a healthy guy today. he is definitly a baby, he goes everywhere with me, and i mean everywhere. i have alot of great pictures of him on a disc but i have to find it, but i did find some of him from when he was just a little slice of pupperoni, you will see in the pics what i meant by how sad he was, but despite that he was still the cutest little roly poly.

i forgot, you all have gorgeous doggies in your signatures! i just love to see people that know dogs are companions not pets.

also i cant believe how similar the alpine dachsbracke is to my dog, it looks just like a stout version of him. i actually did see a female that looked very similar to my dog at the local shelter, she had the same coloring except she was shorter and wider like a beagle with a curly tail, i cried for weeks because i couldnt have her or find her a home, my heart bleeds for all of the dogs at the shelter, but it hurts more when it reminds you so much of your own.

i thought it would only be fair to show a pic of my husbands dog, which is unfortunatly no longer a member of our family as she was set in her ways when our daughter came along and we didnt want to wait til something serious happened to either of them, but she has a good home at her favorite uncles now. she is a beautiful goliath rottweiler named storm.
