Some pics I took today at work, the dog daycare (called The Pampered Pet)

Here's Quincy, the psycho-water loving Doberman from doggy daycare. He LOVES the hose, he even figured out how to turn it on himself[&:].

I had to lock him in one of the kennels while I filled up the water buckets for the dogs, otherwise it would have taken hours with that nut running around after me[&:]

Here are just some random pics of other dogs there.

Here is Raven, she is a lab mix, & a rescue dog. She doesn't have a owner right now, but some people are coming in to look at her. Man I wish I could get another dog here, I am so attached to her, she is such a sweetheart.

Here's Angel, he is so sweet & cuddley, he got picked up from boarding today[] I'm gunna miss him. They're also looking for a home for him, he was found as a stray with 4 broken ribs, so he has come a long way. But they are just holding him until they can find him a perminent home.

Nikki, shes going home soon! She has been here about 5 months now, and the divorce is almost over ( I hope) and if everything works out she can go back home.

And one of my favorites, ABBY! She is SO big compared to when I last saw her, she was so much smaller. She is going to be so big when she grows up, allthough most Leonbergers are pretty big anyways[&:]

And of course, Electra the GSD I think thats how you spell her name?) I call her Gremlin, she looks like one doesn't she[]?
She is so beautiful.

Awwww. They are all so beautiful and I can't decide who I love more.

You had me scared for second with the title since that is the name of my work place.

But do you mean to tell me that poor, pretty Nikki has been boarded for 5 months during divorce talks??? That poor baby!!

Yup. The owners are going through a divorce, so she is staying here. The husben wanted her PTS, but the wife wouldn't let him, so Heidi (owner of the Pampered Pet) gave her a deal because of the situation, and let Nikki stay here for as long as she needed until she could find a apartment that takes dogs.

What GREAT photos. I feel like I know each doggie's personality by your pictures. My heart aches for poor Nikki. Quincy is a certified nutjob with gorgeous eyes. Electra looks like a trouble maker if you ask me. ~L~

OK - what is WRONG with people? I know it must be very tough in a difficult divorce to be amicable and agreeable about how to handle pets, but that is NUTS. I mean, I joke, but am somewhat serious when I say our cat and dog, who were wonderfully bonded, kept DH and I from splitting up at one point. Because there was no way the cat wasn't going with me, even though they were both originally his, and I couldn't BEAR to separate her from her dog! So I know it could be very tough to navigate, but that "solution" is unacceptable.

Kudos to Heidi for helping Nikki and her mom out and to you for helping take care of her in such a situation.
