I finally figured out how to make a new thread. Of course you can't do it through the main nav bar at the top; you have to go into an actual post inside a topic to get the side nav bar to show up. Makes sense.
Ok, enough complaining. Rupert is doing great. He will be TEN tomorrow. He is slowing down a bit but still his silly, smart, sweet, patient, loving, perfect little self.
We had a porcupine in the yard earlier this summer. Poor Rupey couldn't understand why everyone was outside and he couldn't go out.
I waited until he was high up in a tree before I let Rupert out.

We went on a family trip to Colorado. Did you know it's hot there in the summer, especially after chasing a tennis ball 1,000 times? After a while I had to bring him to the basement to sit in front of a fan to cool off.
The kids have had a great summer. We seem to have run out of chocolate for s'mores though... puzzling.
Here's my tomboy Willa. She hates girly clothes, but every once in a while she thinks it's fun to dress up.
We found some monarch caterpillars and watched them turn into butterflies!
Typical sillyheads.
Willa is 6 and will be in first grade. Sonja is 4 and will be in 4k. They are both awesome, smart little kids. Willa is an athlete, Sonja is an artist. They amaze me every day.
I usually get most of my work done after I get the kids to bed. Rupert has a bed in my office. This is the look he gives me when it's time to go to bed. Come on mama, let's go snuggle under the covers together.
He still babooskas himself.
