    Wednesday Chat 4-16-14

Not much exciting going on here. The weather is gorgeous. :) My tomato and pepper plants are growing and the tomatoes have blossoms! I talked to a friend yesterday who is facing that horrible decision about whether it's time to let her old Lab go. We both cried buckets of tears.

The sun is out here, but the wind is cold. My ferns were peeking out last weekend, but they didn't look too happy yesterday.

I'm sorry your friend is at that crossroads, Jackie. Sending vibes for comfort.

I hope Tracy's flight went smoothly and she's enjoying her time back east.

Not much else except plenty of work. The fun never ends.

Woke up to snow and ice here--and I thought it was spring! It's almost all gone now, but we're getting more cold tonight. Brrrr. The weekend is supposed to be quite nice, so I'm looking forward to that.

Jackie, hugs for your friend and you--such a difficult decision.

Cold rain and wind in S.MN.  Opening swim pools has started. The ice is almost out.  The water temp is about 35F, after the sun hits it.  I have to retire soon.  I get tired of watching my arm turn blue when reaching into a pool.

Did you ever have a day when if it wasn't broke when you started, it was when you finished. Brandy doesn't even help.

First tick of the season.  Preventer now applied.  I hate those little things, but pup didn't seem to even notice the removal.  He also lets us touch his feet, so I am going to try a nail trim this evening.

Had taxes done yesterday.  Thanks to internet banking, you don't even have to write a check.  Almost painless.   Wouldn't it just be easier to have the NSA file for us?

Kids and grand kids coming down for easter.  Wife is frenziedly cleaning. It will just be easier to go to work the next few days.

Lugnut made it 6 hours with no mess, while we were at a play.  We saw "The Drowsy Chaperone" at the MSU.  My kind of show.  Dancing, singing, pretty girls, funny, not socially or politically relevant to any thing.  Just fun.  We did notice that a lot of the talent are now seniors, so next year will see some changes.  We have seen some of the graduates in professional work.
