Wednesday Chat 4-9-14

Beautiful day here, too. I'd go to the park at lunch if I didn't need to leave an hour early today.

Working on the corporate Amex, always my favorite.

It's been a slow process, but I'm switching our CO2 provider for some of our restaurants to one that I hope actually understands the meaning of customer service. This is a good thing and I'd throw a party if I had time.

Back to the grunt work.

A nice breezy spring day-shirtsleeve weather this afternoon.

Our water view is of the local sewage settling ponds.  Not really that picturesque, but it is water.  The ice has gone off, and a gentle breeze reminds us that it may be time to dredge and remove waste from the ponds.  The prevailing winds should also shift a bit and remove the aroma-that or a skunk will become roadkill.

My pup is a little dog.  He looks like a dog, he barks like a dog.  About 35 lbs.

He still like to wait till you get comfortable on the sofa, then he comes at a dead run and jumps on your face,  I think he likes the look of pure terror he sees.  That or the screams.

Had to work today.  Drive for half an hour, look at the spa, tell him it's broke and probably not worth fixing, drive back to the shop. I could get used to this.

You ladies AND your lunches would blow away in the park here today.  Wow, is it ever windy!  Started out cloudy, but now the sun is back so it's a pretty nice day here too.

The house we wanted fell through so we are now madly scrambling trying to find something else.  Sigh.  I so hate moving.

Sunny and gorgeous here with just a little wind right now. We are excited about our new addition--I'll post photos when he arrives.

Have had a sunny day here as well. Still a bit chilly with the breeze. Did a whole new thing in agility today, as far has what to do when running your dog....look at the path ahead that you want your dog to take. Wow worked fantastic. Will take a bit to train the brain to do this and have it feel natural. Sorry about the house Glenda. Do hope you find something soon.

Kate; I went back to yesterdays chat to see what the new addition was; can't wait to see pictures; congratulations!!!

It started out raining but turned out lovely today. Too bad I was at work and in meetings from 8 am to 6pm LOL DH told me that poor Bugsy was on the lookout for me for 2 hours - :( On a happy note, tomorrow we are going to teach his newest puppy friend how to swim. His new friend is a stunning GSP and of course I am completely in love. The owner is super nice too ;) That is all really - I am so happy for Kate & Mozey and the new boy :)

Jackie, the log in problem is not going to be fixed. The Web person here has said many times he believes it is a problem on our end with our Web browsers and not a problem on their end. Which seems not right to me but that seems to be his position.

I hope all is going well with folks. This new layout format of this website  is super annoying so I don't come around as much anymore. I wish you were all on fb!

The spring peepers have finally come out here so we apparently have thaw! We trained at a lake though tonight which still had a small layer of ice on it. This didn't stop abbie from going swimming of course. There was about 20 ft of open water at the shore line and that was all she needed.

We also got frozen yogurt on a work break downtown today. Oh that was sooooo good! Spring is coming slowly but surely!

I forgot to mention that Lily play bored for the first time ever the other day! I was so shocked. I have had Lily for like 5 yrs now and she has never play bowed in all that time.  I was so happy to see it! It was like she was finally a relaxed well balanced dog for a few minutes. So not normal for her. I hope it's the start of something good!

Not to burst the Spring Fever bubble of any of you Michiganders, but......I did hear that parts of MI are going to get a foot of snow next week.
