Finally Friday Chat

Woohoo it's going to be 59 degrees in N.W.Arkansas today let the thawing begin :)

Nice and sunny here, but I feel a little sad. My friend with the lung cancer told me last night that it has spread to her brain. She's continuing radiation, but no idea if it will help.

Tina, I'm so sorry to hear the news about your friend.  :(  

It's very nice here today.  I didn't watch the weather but I think we're going to be in the 70's later.  It's 58 here now.

I left work and came home.  I didn't sleep well and feel rotten.  Nap may fix me up and it sure can't hurt.

Jackie I see your cold has not gotten better, maybe some rest and hot totty would help.

It is 35 and sunny today. Working the dogs outside and I have pretty much stripped off all my clothes. Sweating. To. Death. There's a freakish amount of snow but at least the temps are good!

I'm doing a lot of abbie leash socialization today and she is doing well. She is being very appropriate especially with the puppies. A new dobe pup came up to her and she smelled, wiggled and came back to me for a treat. The 2nd time the dobe puppy jumped up on her head. She quickly corrected him for that which he listened to but then he got barky and sassy. His handler has a very strong willed puppy on her hands! I don't envy her at all. I'm happy with abbie though :)

Tina, I'm so sorry about your friend. I lost my dad to lung cancer so this brings back some sad memories. Sending her strong healing vibes.

 It's in the 40's here and sunny. So much nicer than what we've been dealing with.

Tina, I'm sorry your friend's cancer has spread.  Sending good vibes that treatments help at least to halt any further spreading, if not 100% curing it.

Nice to hear those of you in the cold areas are seeing some sun today.  We're supposed to be in the low 60's today -- unseasonably warm.  What's left of the un-opened cherry blossoms will surely pop open today.  DH thinks he may have to mow the lawn this weekend.  At this time of year, there's more moss than grass in the lawn, but it needs cutting, too, I guess!

Jackie, I'm sorry you feel crummy -- I'm glad you left work and can get some extra rest with a headstart on the weekend.

I've got a ton to finish before I can leave the office today, so I better get to the piles on my desk!

I got food poisoning last night, at least I think that is what it was/is. I finally could keep water down at about noon today but still feel rough. Bugsy has been a doll, sleeping by me all day.

Weather has been miserable, rain, sleet, ice non-stop since about noon yesterday. Heavy winds & hovering between 30-34*

Supposed to be fabulous for the next  4 days.

  I'm so sorry Karen and hope you get better soon. What a sweet boy Bugsy is to keep watch over you when you're ill.
