    Sat Noon

Lugnut is getting big. If he grows into his feet, he may be a St Bernard. Every time you look at him, he looks taller-all legs. Brought him in last night after is romp in the snow and he a Piper started to play. Living room got tore up a bit, as Lugnut was spinning his wheels on turns and throwing rugs around, sprinting behind furniture and sprinting past Piper, who was wheeling and barking (tail wagging well). Little dog would stalk Piper, hide under chairs, peek around corners, then break into a run past Piper. Wife was watching and laughing the whole time. I think the twerp has figured out the reward structure. He goes out, pees, gets a treat. So he decides he wants a snack, barks, gets let out, pees a little, gets a treat. I laid down on the sofa for a nap, the pup flopped down on me and napped. He has never been shy, and is a favorite at puppy class, especially with the little kids.

Doug, there's nothing like puppy play to make a person happy.  Glad to hear Piper has decided he can stay. :)

I went to Costco this morning with a friend and then we had lunch.  I ended up renewing my lapsed membership and signed up for their AmEx card.  My friend earned over $800 cash back last year.  Booyah.

DH wants to go see a movie.  He's totally a movie freak and I'm not.  Luckily there have been some good ones out lately but I'm not the least bit interested in A Winter's Tale, based on the twenty million previews I've seen lately.

This last two weeks the rodeo has been here in town.  We never went out to the stockshow grounds this year.  That's a first.   Maybe because DH is still limping and moaning.

It sounds like the pup and Piper are having a great time!  They do make us laugh, that's for sure.

It was 50 degrees here today! The cold is coming back this week (along with more snow), but a lot of the snow we had on the ground has melted. I guess that means I get to do yard patrol tomorrow...
