Friday 2/7: Winter wonderland in western OR!

Well, it's very pretty outside, all covered in white.  I love how quiet it is outside after it snows a lot.  We get that so rarely here.  Ruby loved zooming around in it last night.

Only 2 or 3 inches at our house, but that's enough to create lots of problems since they don't plow most roads.  DH said people were sliding thru intersections this morning.  I've opted to have him chauffeur me to work later this AM.  I have two things I have to get done today, then I'm coming straight home again.  All schools are closed, some city offices, etc.

More snow and maybe freezing rain this afternoon, into tomorrow.  I'm afraid it may screw up the plans for our friend's 50th BD party tomorrow night.  Sad

    What?  No pictures?

Sending no more snow or freezing rain thots!

I really don't need more pictures of snow.  Pictures of warm sandy beaches would be good.

I think "puppy license" has expired.  Snot put his nose into Pipers bowl and Piper wasn't through.  Puppy school starts Tuesday.

Wife was trying to get photos of Jr.  Kept posing him, stepping back, and aiming the camera while saying "good boy".  I've been teaching toilet procedures, and "good boy" has come to mean " come and get your treat".   He is quick.  Photos tend to be of a blur.

    A couple photos for Glenda:

See the hummingbird on the left side of the feeder?!

And a photo for Doug.  My sister was in Puerto Rico this week and sent me this yesterday when I told her we were having a bit of a snow storm:

It's been snowing since noon today, and I'd guess there's nearly a foot in our backyard now.  Supposed to continue into the night.  The drive home from work was nerve-wrecking.  Glad to be home, getting ready to eat some homemade fried chicken with a honey-chipolte sauce and garlic mashed potatoes.

Wow Tracy!  That's a lot of snow for there.  And, thank you for the picture of the warm and sunny sandy beach!
