Storm watch Saturday

    Storm watch Saturday

The party last night was actually fun.  No one got obnoxiously drunk which was a very good thing....no standing on chairs or dancing on tables!  Very pleasant evening.

And, of course today the storm is supposed to start.  Predictions are anywhere from 7-15 inches of snow, but the good news is that it will end by early tomorrow afternoon, leaving plenty of time for cleanup before we all have to head back to work.  We have errands to run today and need to get the hubs in gear before the mess starts.  I'm afraid that I had NO time to pick up groceries yesterday so will have to bite the bullet and do it today.  The stores are likely to be mobbed with a storm coming in.

Have a good day everyone, and for those in stormy areas, please stay safe.

Everyone must be out Christmas shopping or something.  I just went to the Dollar Store to get some gift bags, and it was crowded.  I decided to skip Walmart when I saw how full the parking lot was.

I absolutely HAVE to wrap and box up family gifts this weekend so I can get them in the mail on Monday.   A friend invited me to a private yoga session for a small group this morning.  She organized it in honor of her friend who passed away.  It was a nice relaxing hour of stretching and breathing -- a much needed thing at this hectic time of year.  But 5 minutes in the store, and I lost the relaxation!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and those in stormy areas are staying warm, dry, and safe!

haha, no Christmas shopping going on here.  I was at the vet with Belle then back home and off again to get my hair cut.  Very late lunch out with DH and now home to play outside with the dogs.  Sunny and nice today.  yay!

I messed up and lost my post--my mistake! The snow has started and the wind is supposed to pick up later. I have the wood stove going, and I moved a bunch of wood earlier today, so it's right outside the door.

Mozey had a play date with two dogs today--they had a ton of fun outside in the snow (leftover from the last snow storm).

I have a small turkey to cook tomorrow (they were on sale; I couldn't resist), so I'm sure I'll make a soup and who knows what else this week.

Not much else here--I hope everyone is well. (The yoga session sounds great--it's been a long time since I've been to a yoga class.)
