Sunny Sunday Chat 11-17

It's 50 ish here, but damp so it feels a good deal colder.  Despite that, I went out and did the laundry, cleaned out the car and did the vacuuming and scrubbing out, then washed it.  Have been doing the cleaning in starts and stops, but DID manage to groom my poor plants.  There were tons of dead/dying leaves and stuff to clean out and give them a better environment to grow in.  Hopefully they'll be a bit happier now.

Thinking I should probably get dinner started.  My boys got their bathes yesterday.

Doggy baths...I took Buffy to the Vet on Friday for a bath and nail trim (bad back hasn't let me do it).  She now smells like some kind of gawd-awful perfume...even today.  I'd rather have the hound smell!  I need to remember to ask them not to use that again.  I am just not a perfumey person at all.  Buffy has these humungous paws and the nails to go with.  Clipping them takes a lot of strength, and even the young techs always mention that.  I do have a Dremel, but never used it on her for that.  She is so skittish that I'm not sure how she would handle it.  I should try though, because I hate seeing her nails get too long.

Holy thunderstorms batman! The weather here is insane. Downed trees and power lines everywhere. No tornado like they had in IL though Thankfully. I think my roof almost got ripped off a short while ago though.
