I have shied away from the training threads for quite some time now.  If it's safe to "go back in the water", I'd love to be involved in some of the training threads.  I guess rather than blow a gasket at being called a cookie dispensing butler for my dogs, I just let it go and stayed away.  I'd LOVE to have some talks about different training methods if all involved could avoid the nastiness and being snarky.

I agree, Ginger.  Not having an obvious/easy place to quickly see "Posts you have not yet read" or something like that does make it a little trickier to catch things that are truly new.

Jackie, I posted infrequently in the training or behavior sections because I don't have solid experience or skills to share, but I do miss being able to read some topics because it was still educational, even if I didn't post.  I always have questions about Ruby's issues, so I'll have to start a thread or two that you can help me with!

Glenda, you make a good point about not necessarily blaming my age on my struggle to adapt to the new stuff . . . the more I think about it, it may have more to do with the way my brain has always worked (when I was young, too!).  I don't gravitate towards multi-colored, high movement, "cluttered" visuals or environments in any place in my life, so even if I were 18, I'd probably struggle with the new format!  Smile

I only know what works for me so I didnt input much but  I learned quite a bit over the years that I have put into practice based on the input of others .
