Janice, that story is hilarious! And it reminds me of a bun story of my own. Years ago, back when VHS tapes were "the thing," I got myself a copy of the video, "Buns of Steel." I went to work the next day and told my coworker (who was very witty) about how I found the video on sale for only $9.99. She said, "$9.99? That's less than 5 bucks a bun!"
Julie, we've had the large bins for curbside recycling for years here, and I love it. We can put any recyclables in there except glass (we have a smaller bin for that). Between the huge recycling bin and the yard debris bin (which holds anything that's compostable, food scraps, yard stuff, paper towels, etc.) -- we have very little garbage. We were able to go to a much smaller bin for that. And all those curbside services are less than $25/month!
Glenda, I hope you're pleased with the first issue of you new paper.
Tina, I'm sure we'll all cut you some slack about the drinks . . . none of us could possibly fill Deb's bartending shoes. We'll just have to survive without her. We may need extra chocolate!
The IT consultant is due here any minute to address the bizarre problems on my PC. Yay!
