Oh boy, new job

You must be so relieved, Sharon.  I would've been a wreck, too.  You can feel satisfied that you're leaving on very good terms, that your boss will continue to think highly of you, no bridges burned, etc.

It's not often that people get to leave a job on their own terms and go to a new job that they really, really want, especially these days when the job market isn't ideal and people sometimes have to take any job they can find.  What an exciting opportunity for you!

I'm really lucky and I'm really hopeful that my boss will get someone in who is just as good or better than me.  I have to much to get squared away, it's not even funny.  I just finished writing out a preliminary list of items to get accomplished between this and next week.  I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting, that will get added on!
