How to greet your human by Bugsy

I just came home and this is how I was greeted (well initially he was carrying it around and wiggling and waggling)

That's the best way to do it! Big Smile

     that poor toy

Its actually a whole bunch of dead toys - I tie the carcass into knots and he separates them all when the mood strikes. There is about 5-6 toys in that mess. LOL

Toy offering, only someone special gets that sort of greeting!

Lol isn't that the best? Neiko and lily so that too. Especially lily. She even greets me with stuffiness when I get out of the shower in the morning, like she didn't just see me 5 mins before. Goof balls!

Bugsy is multi-talented. Charlie has to do them one at a time. But on a trip thru the house to the back door (and "out" after we get home) Charlie can absolutely seamlessly drop a toy/pick up another no less than 4 times before he gets to the back door. I suppose that also says a lot about all the toys I let them leave laying around LOL

Aaww, Bugsy!  I get the same greeting from Caleb, right down to the wiggling and wagging.  If you don't greet Bugsy "properly", will he just follow you around like that until you do?

    Indeed!

I missed this thread yesterday.  What a cute photo!  Ruby always grabs her Nylabone when we come home, and she runs and wiggles everywhere with it in her mouth.  We probably should've encouraged her to use soft toys, because more than once, she has dropped the bone on my foot in her excitement, and in summer when I'm wearing sandals, it's NOT pleasant!

Good idea to recycle the dead toys into one big knotted toy!

Bugsy you do have the "greet your human"  part down.  This is also how Rocky does it, he herds his humans with his stuffy, thru the house looking back each moment to insure that you are following :)  Hot Shot just says Hi...loudly...wiggles his butt....wags his tail....leans on you til you pat his head....then goes to lay down until "he" decide it is time to eat :)

That is a very good idea...I just cant seem to throw out dead stuffies, with no stuffy left in them with odd ears, tails and moufs where they have been eaten and sewed, eaten and sewed.

Since Bugsy loves puzzles I also stuff several dead toys inside a larger dead toy - then he can unstuff them all over again. He likes the knots too :)

Best kind of greeting!  I get the super butt wiggles and bashed into in order for me to give her butt skritches (this usually turns into a roughhousing game lol).  When Steve comes home, he gets excited barking to let the home neighborhood know that he's home lol.
