It does not matter what time I go to bed, I do not like to be up early. It terrifies me when I have to get up early and people are depending on me. The other week, when Luke was in the flyball tournament and I didn't stay over, I was terrified I would wake up late, be late, my team would kill me, etc. Him being the height dog, the team can't go without him. This morning, I slept through multiple alarms. I needed to leave at 6:15, and I got up at 5:50. I'm such a talented oversleeper, I can get ready to go in 5 minutes if I need to.

I wish I could get ready that quickly -- then I could sleep a bit later in the mornings.  But, I'm a little more high-maintenance, I guess!

Tina, I love your suggestions of the other flavors -- all three would be tasty possibilities.  I'm thinking of Creme de Menthe frosting . . . that would be really good!

The news is saying that an arrest may be imminent in the Boston bombings.

Jen I am like that too! It terrifies me to have people depending on me getting up early. When I have to get up early to meet people to travel somewhere or whatever it is pretty much a given I won't sleep the night before because I will be stressing about it.

And speaking of sleeping I could totally go for a nap right now

I heard on TV when eating breakfast this AM that the authorities were "not any closer to making any arrests."  I wondered if maybe they weren't saying much to the media so they wouldn't risk damaging the progress of the investigation.

It would be great if they found who did it so quickly.  Off to look online for some more info!

seems like the news stories are conflicting. I hope they have or will have a suspect in custody though.

My eye dr. wanted me to try daily contacts with the thought that they'd be more comfortable. Unfortunately, my eyes have been burning by mid-day since I started wearing them, so I don't think they're going to work :(

My student teachers had to head in to Boston today for an event at a university there. I did get emails from them last night, but I haven't checked back in with them yet today. (The public schools are on break this week.)  I don't think there's an arrest yet, but there is a ton of evidence that those in the know are going through. I have a friend who used to work at the federal super-max prison. All I know is it's all nuts.

On a happier note--I've joined the 21st century and now have an iPhone. I still learning, have hung up accidently on people, and have mistyped text messages, but I'll get there. (I have an iPad but don't use it except for demos in my classes.) Poor Sinbad had to tolerate me trying to take pictures of him during his acupuncture session and on his walk afterward today.

Not much else here--I am glad it's not snowing! I agree--April 1 is my deadline for all things winter.

Deb, that cake looks divine!! And, I love the variation ideas with Amaretto, etc.
