    It's Pizza and Beer Night at the W House . . . Deb W.

Miller Lite for me, Heineken Lite for Mr. W.

Large pie, half pepperoni for me, half sausage for Mr. W.

Kate doesn't really like pizza so she usually gets some kind of pasta if she's not going out for the night.

    What's your favorite ??

How can one not like pizza?  The typical topping standby for me is usually bacon.  I do admit a fondness for anchovy pizza.  I also love pepperoni with mushrooms, onions and green peppers.  I've also had a pizza once with scallops and bacon.  It was actually pretty darn good.  Eggplant and garlic is also good.

    Hmm....I think I just like pizza :)

Guinness and pizza, YUM!  I love pizza "loaded," so it is usually the other person / people who are picky and decide what we are getting.

Not fond of any beer other than Guinness, though.

Canadian bacon & pineapple w/ a Bud Light.

I am not a beer person, but love love love pizza!   I like it loaded with all the goodies.   We have a faily new pizza place not too far from the office that is probably the best I have ever had.

Favorite pizza is a well made margherita pizza with super thin crust and fresh mozzarella.  I'm not a beer lover but a super cold Sam Adams always tastes good with pizza.  I saw one called Fat Jack the other day and thought it sounded delicious. :)

First of all, before I saw the "Deb W," I read the thread title and thought it was referring to a party at the White House.  Stick out tongue

No beer for me, but my favorite pizza is Margherita -- and it has to be thin, crispy crust (which is VERY hard to find here).

DH loves his pizza loaded with stuff, so to maximize the veggie selection, he usually orders a vegetarian pizza, then has them add sausage and anchovies.  He's a beer snob, and living where there are more microbreweries per capita than anywhere else in the country, he has many local favorites.  He does love Guinness, so the microbrews he likes are usually stouts and darker kinds.

Oooh as for beer, I'm a microbrew fan.  I also love a good stout too.

Now I want beer and pizza.  I'm on call so no beer, but there will be pizza by golly!

Actually getting a couple slices for lunch.  Just cheese, b/c its not worth the topping charge for 2 pieces.

My fallback is sausage.  But I like a lot of different things.  The scallop/bacon pizza sounds awesome!

Not a beer person either, though some kind of Smirnoff ice would work in this case.

Favorite is sausage w/extra cheese and little to no sauce w/ Sam Adams Octoberfest

It depends where I'm getting the pizza from. From one place, I like mushroom and onion. If it's from Domino's, I like pineapple. Pizza hut, no toppings. Another place, which has yet to reopen after the place next to it caught fire and took it out with it, I liked the Trenton Style. Hopefully it reopens soon. Everywhere else, I just get plain.

Cenario's Pizza here has one called *the Detroiter* which is amazing ... it's pepperoni, but less pepperoni than usual because the crust is coated with olive oil and the tomato sauce is scattered on top.  It's a big rectangle (18" X 12";) with a nice thick crust and cuts into 15 good sized squares ... and now I think I want one tonight. Normally I'm not too fond of pepperoni (too greasy) but this one is really good and Max gets most of my pepperoni anyway. Not a beer fan, so I'll have a glass of white wine

Can I just say that I'm craving pizza?  No surprise, that might be dinner tonight!

Deb, you may have single-handedly caused an upward tick in profits for pizza parlors around the country today!  Big Smile

Yep, that sounds like the Buddy's pizza here which is a Detroit thing. DH likes it more than me, but its good. The sauce on top of a square pizza. That's funny, I didn't think anyone outside of Detroit would call it that LOL. http://www.buddyspizza.com/index.asp
