Sunny (at least in my heart) Sunday!

Sunny (at least in my heart) Sunday!

About 3AM so have no clue what the weather will bring, but, wow.  Just wow.

The movie was absolutely incredible, and Christopher is soooo very good.  He made a point of calling Thursday nite to invite us for "dinner with the family".  He greeted me with a beautiful white rose "From Mike.  He's here with us tonight".  The film is SOLID.  Very moving, but it doesn't answer all the questions, so intriguing at the same time.  It really touched me.  Not only did "Elliot" (Chris's character) carry a pic of his brother in his wallet that we saw, but also had one on the endtable in his livingroom.  In a very emotional scene for Elliot, the camera zoomed in on Mike's pic.  And the producer/director dedicated the movie in memory of his own grandparents, and Mike.  And yep, I got a bit soggy!  An absolutely amazing night.

Just months ago, I barely knew either of the "second set of boys", yet Chris was so warm and loving.  His mom did an amazing job with those guys.  She might have stayed married to the jerk for 20 years, but he was never around and never involved with any of his sons.  I had Todd, my boys had Todd.  But the youngest two are a tremedous credit to their mom.

My heart is very full tonight.  Mostly with sheer joy!

That sounds awesome glenda. I am very happy for you!

Brrr! I have decided that I am in no way ready for fall/winter temps. No way. I want 75*+ forever.

I think my right ear is infected. It is all swollen, itchy and irritated. I think the ear canal is pretty much shut. I iced it last night but that didn't do much good. Good thing I have a doc appt tomorrow. I was able to turn the tv down a tad though so that is good news! At night I normally have the tv at level 8, over the last week I have had to have it at 40 (it doesn't go much higher). Last night, I turned it down to around 35. I can't imagine how loud this would be to a normal person heh.

I have sar training today. I have gone back and forth about going. I am still on the fence but I have to leafe in 20 mins if I am going to get there on time. The plus side, it would take my mind off my right ear. The down side, driving 1.5 hrs when I can't hear is a bit worrisome. And doing a long search in the vast wilderness up north when I can't hear is also worrisome, especially if abbie decides to go out of my sight. Decisions decisions

Glenda - it sounds like you had a wonderful time and what a nice remembrance of Mike.I'd have been a complete puddle of tears.

Julie - I laughed at the volume on the tv. I assume your tv settings are similar to mine and I too usually watch around 7 or 8. I can't even imagine how loud 40 would be. I vote for you to stay home.

Another 100+ day, so I'm headed outside to do some yardwork before it gets too hot.

Words don't do it in trying to express what a fabulous night it was.

Very cool Glenda. I have what looks like it may be a bug bite right at the spot I got One of my allergy shots. I'm not sure if it an actual bug bite, or I should worry. Maybe I should cancel my meeting for this afternoon. It's after 3, and she still hasn't sent me a draft. We're meeting at 5:15.

That sounds wonderful, Glenda, as does your evening at Tanglewood.  We lived close to there for about 2 years, and we never made it.  A combination of very young children and a Hubby with 2 jobs.  Someday...

Dear son is home and doing fairly well after his gall bladder surgery.  I am exhausted and my back hurts...that is nothing new though.  I didn't get home till 10 pm 2 nights in a row, and today I went to the grocery store for them.  Weird experience shopping for someone else and having a vague list of needs.  I tend to buy a lot at one time so I don't have to go back, and they buy a little so it doesn't sound like so much money at one time.  Hopefully, he will feel stronger in a few days and start to get out.

Oh, and I have to find someone to mow my lawn for a few weeks...ugh.  What happened to young boys looking to earn some money?   Haven't seen one of them in years.  And I have the feeling that lawn maintenance companies want a contract...

Wow, Glenda -- I hard you talk about this "2d set" for didn't know what you meant.  That is amazing and wonderful!!.

Last nite, we went down to City Walk to see Classic Albums Live do "Sgt. Pepper" (Beatles) and had a blast.  But by the time we got home it was 1:30 and I had dogfood started, so by the time I came to a stopping point it was 4:00 a.m.  So my Sunday is all upside down.  Dogfood is DONE, and away *phew* AND I got some decent (but late) sleep.

If any of you guys ever get a chance to see any of these, it's not expensive and they are incredible. They are Canadian so a lot of Canadian cities get more than we do (but they appear from Detroit to NJ/NY/Philly with other cities too)
