    A safety pointer from Bugsy

Always study the trail map before setting out

    A few other photos.....

after an interesting trail walk and off-trail walk - he hit his destination

    It was lovely

This however is a pose you don't want to see Bugsy in when he is off-leash in a natural setting

Not sure what scent he had - that time - but it took some doing to get his attention

We had a real nice day though - he can still impersonate a mountain goat very well and give me cardiac tests regularly Big Smile

Lol I can see why that stance would be worrying. I worry when my dogs start working scent, back and forth.

Nice photos. It looks like it was a great outing!

Dammit !!!!!!   I really hate it when dogs have more common sense than I do.  Good job Bugs !!!!!

Julie he had been working scent for about a 1/4 of a mile, been 'tapped' 3x, but remained hot. This pose immediately followed a head pop into that area.

I also learned that he would love to chase/ hunt horses too. Shaking my head.

Bugsy, looks like you had a great trek to "your destination."  They say the journey is part of the fun, ha haa, and you showed that on the route back.

Love the first one and the others too!  Looks like a great outing with the Beast. I'm so glad you got away and enjoyed your day.  :)  I'd be worried if you didn't see that stance on an outing. lol

Just love this photo. Looks like a real great park for dog walks and that you and Bugsy had a great time.

A male who isn't afraid to use a map or stop and get directions?  Bugsy, just one more quality that shows how you are my idea of the perfect guy!  Wink
