So I know lots of you guys like my dog (and she's an awesome dog!). Anyone want one that looks and acts a lot like her?
Meet Dahlia's as yet unnamed doppelganger.

She's just been pulled out of a shelter in southern Ohio and is residing across the border with my friend in West Virginia, who pulls dogs from this shelter, vets them, fosters them, and finds them new homes. I'm not sure we can adopt her, but I want to help her find a home!
Here's what I know of her so far:
The shelter estimated her to be 2. My friend thinks she could be older based on her teeth (she'll have a vet confirm the age estimate when she takes her in in the next couple days). She could potentially be the same age as Dahlia (around 6), which is freaky because she was picked up as a stray about 30-45 miles away from where Dahlia was picked up as a stray 4 years ago.
She's super sweet and travels well in the car.
She's around 60 pounds but needs to lose weight. My friend suspects she should weigh 50-55 pounds.
She gets along fine with all of her dogs. She has a handful of her own plus a bunch of fosters that are soon to be in new homes. She met them all and was totally cool with them. Not afraid, totally unflappable, great body language and totally chill about them all.
She also basically ignored the cats. She noticed them and just walked by with no concern.
She's going to the vet tomorrow or Thursday to get tested for heartworm, get vaccinated, and they'll check to see if she's spayed (spaying will be set up immediately if she's not).
So that's Dahlia's doppelganger. If anyone has been thinking about adding another dog to their home, especially a super sweet and mellow fluffy dog, this one could be for you! If you would seriously want her, please let me know because I can put you in contact with my friend. I promise she's not one of those super strict "you must have a fenced in yard or you couldn't possibly adopt this dog!" types. She just wants these dogs who were on death row at the local shelter (this girl's time was up tomorrow!) to have a good home.
