    rw-Vacation pictures! :)

Most on FB already have seen them, but I know some folks here don't do FB (tsk tsk)...so here is a link to the FB album with all the pics! We took the kids on a roadtrip to DC, drove thru Arkansas, Tennessee and of course Virginia. We stayed in Crystal City in Va. and were there a full 5 days (days on either side for the drive there and back).

Did SO MUCH! I loved DC, super wonderful educational and one of a kind place. I typically dislike big cities but found myself wanting to live in the area LOL! Anyhows...here's the link, ENJOY!

clicking on any pic will make it bigger and then you can go thru them one by one....the ones at the beginning are all from my pone, I just today got done uploading the ones from the big camera. :)

Great pics!  And I facebook, but I don't think you're on my list, lol.

I am jealous of your museum visits. I live by Vegas. We get no museums :(

It *is* such a cool area -- you've got all sorts of "natural wonders" in that area (Natural Bridge, caves) and that whole Appalachin area is a whole different kind of "life" than most of we "city folks" ever experience.  But then zoom -- you're in the middle of the political hub of the US, and museums GALORE.

David and I can be museum freaks -- we didn't see nearly enough of the Smithsonean when we were there in any event.  And SEASONS!!!  The only thing you missed was the Mountain Laurel the middle of June.  It is breathtakingly beautiful if you ever get the opportunity -- it used to be my Mom's favorite site anywhere.

     Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for posting these Gina, for us backwards folks not on FB!

Great collection of pics -- you have a good artistic eye for composing them.  Looks like you saw a ton of cool things (other than that TitanoBoa, or whatever it was -- no thanks!).  The donut pic made me hungry, and the cherries I have on my desk aren't exactly as satisfying as a tasty donut!

I love going to museums and historical landmarks and such.  I went to DC as a very young child and have no recollection of it.  Your kids are at a great age for that kind of trip.  Lots of special memories for your whole family!

We saw a traveling Smithsonian exhibit several years ago, and that was really great.  One day I hope to go to DC and visit all the highlights!

I really enjoyed these photos, thank you!

I lived in DC for 3 years for school, spent plenty of time in the free Smithsonians.  Air and Space was my fave place to hang out, lol.

Great pictures, Gina!  We love DC.  The mall is incredible at night.  Everytime we go to Arlington, I expect to see the ghosts of our fallen hereos walking amongs the graves.

Gina I cant get to your photos from this computer (no FB allowed at the office)  but it is so good to hear about your vacation.   I am sure the kids had a great time too :).   I guess I must have been out in the garden when you called while you were in Arkansas Wink

I've seen some of these but not all.  Looked through some more today and what a great vacation and great pics!

I'd seen some of the pics on FB and followed along with your posts. I really would love to visit DC. Everyone I know who's gone says they needed more time to see everything.
