LOL thanks, we are enjoying her.  Dad (and I) always has cats and dogs in his lap.  That was one of the things he missed about his 4 week absence:  a warm lap!  I don't think it is possible to sit in this house and have a free lap, lol.

 (Dad was in ICU from June 7 to 12, then after 2 days transferred to a nursing facility for physical therapy, returned home Friday July 7th. I DID take the 3 dogs in for visits a few times, everyone enjoyed seeing them.)

 I think we all did!  She fits in so well, as if she's been here ages.

 Been to the vet, she weighs 13 pounds.  I was surprised she is that much!  She is scheduled for her spay and dental on the 25th.  Got her rabies shot, as she came with NO records.  She is missing 9 teeth, and may lose 2 more at the dental; there is gum recession. 

Got a phone call today, blood work is back (for the anesthesia) and everything looks normal!  ALso heartworm negative, and the test also shows she has had the lyme vaccine.
