Well.  This is what happens when you set yourself up as the spelling police.  It's not rapel.  It's rappel.  Good grief.  I need a drink as I'm clearly some sort of obsessive personality who needs to relax. lol

omg - thank you all for giving me a laugh this morning. I will probably never spell rappel right now because I have all the spellings floating around in my brain Huh?

The only way I'd rappel is if someone pushed me over the side and I had no choice. I have a huge fear of heights and even if I wanted to do it, I'd freeze before I could get near the edge. I can't begin to imagine doing it with a dog attached to me - eek!!

I had the worst commute in ages this morning. There was a stretch of a few miles where I averaged 2 mph. I have no idea what caused the back up but it took over an hour to get here and poor Shane was not enjoying it. He usually loves car rides so when he started whining, I knew he'd had enough :(.

I think his tummy is feeling better but I'll know better when I take him for a walk. Trying to get info out of DH is challenging.

    me - how'd Shane's poop look?

him - Better. Still soft but not as bad as it was. Well, it started out firm but got mushier. Actually it looked a little dry in the beginning.

    Huh?

I've noticed Gina has been MIA for a bit.

Regardless of how you spell it, a controlled decline or not, I would be so terrified that whoever went before me would have to watch out for falling....erm....stuff when I freaked out and lost control of certain bodily functions.  Yep, total chicken when it comes to stuff like that.

Gina posts regularly on FB. Shes getting ready to go on vacation to D.C.

I miss Beagle Buckit pics, too.  Just one of the many things I miss since I'm not on Facebook.  I know . . . I know . . . get with the program, Tracy.

That beagle video is so cute.  I've seen other promo videos done by the Shelter Pet Project.  Several are animated, and all are really good.  Clever, sweet, touching, with great messages that are done in a brief, but effective format.  Love them.

Rapel, repel, Rappel --- however you spell it, I'm not doin' it!  I'm in the fraidy-cat club with Tina, Glenda, and others who said they'd skip it!

Off to a photo-shoot for a volunteer activity for our local shelter.  I had a dinner/snack that Joyce or Karen might enjoy:  ice cream.  Actually, it was actually a new kind of Ben & Jerry's -- Greek Frozen Yogurt, Raspberry Chocolate Chunk.  We only have it because we had houseguests.  And I had to finish it tonight!
