Dog Collar?

i like that they are sturdy-virtually unbreakable, easy to clean, have a metal buckle that won't give like a plastic snap buckle and they come with a free riveted on i.d tag. i like the riveted tags because they don't jingle and they don't snag. the collars come in many colors and several different styles. a good price too.

Are you referring to a collar that prevents a dog from bothering a surgical site/injury or possibly a tracking type collar if your dog becomes lost?

For regular collars, I like Lupine, Dublin and leather collars from various sources.

 I don't use collars at all.  Bichons are prone to collapsed trachea, and most folks (vets, breeders, rescues) recommend a harness no collar.

This is my favorite collar.  It's ASAT so it won't stretch, break, get dirty, or get stinky.  It comes with a free brass ID plate.  There's a safety ring in the middle, and a D-ring for the leash.  All my dogs have this one for when they are required to wear a flat collar, and they wear them for dock diving competitions and sometimes for flyball (if not using a harness).  I've also had two dogs returned to me because of the contact info on the ID plates.  I prefer the "Durasoft" one, it's a little more expensive but IMO stronger and looks better.

Other than that collar, for a basic collar I also like soft rolled leather with a good quality buckle.
