    Just thought I would say hello to all the old i-doggers I used to know and introduce myself to the new folks I haven't met yet.  I haven't posted much the last year or so, but have been lurking more recently.  Thought this seemed like a good time to re-join the "fold!"  [:)] 
     
    I just got married on October 29, 2005 and have a mixed breed dog, Ella, and five cats.  Three cats were originally mine and two came with the husband!  :)  All are rescues.  One of the cats is still officially a foster, but as so often happens, after so long I am about to give up and just add her to the pack. 
     
    I live in Louisville, KY and do a lot of volunteer work in my free time.  I love horseback riding, dog training, reading, and various and sundry other hobbies. 
     
    I'm still getting used to this new format...  Not sure if I'm seeing the new posts correctly...  is there a way to see all the threads and still identify which ones are new?  Sort of the way the old format worked?  Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong when viewing the threads...
     
    Also, I'm issuing an open invitation to anyone to come to Louisville on March 16-19 for the big dog show here.  I've met several i-doggers that way, and I'd love to meet a few more.  I'll take some time off and show you around!  [:D]

    Hey ellasmom, good to see you back.  I'm still trying to figure the whole thing out as well, but the easiest way I've found is to view it in "flat style".There are icons on the left next to each forum/thread title that indicate new threads/posts.  There is a key at the bottom of the page that explains what each icon means.

    I'm afraid you just get to stumble through the new format with the rest of us.  Hopefully someone REALLY computer literate will figure it all out and post us a guide to navigation! [:D][:D]

    Welcome back Jenny! I've been wondering where you had gone off to!! Congrats on your marriage! And your impending pack increase!!! [sm=biggrin.gif] I don't know if you remember me but I'm Hill. I used to have Aurora.
    I am now the proud mommy to a varitable zoo! We have four dogs, Six cats, one tortoise and a three legged hamster! [sm=rofl.gif]

    Kelly, thanks for the tip. Flat style is much easier.
    Lexi, Ella says thank you. [:)] Your two are handsome, too. What breed are they?
    Glenda and Mkampa (that is you, isn't it??), it's good to see you guys, too.
    And Hillarie, geez your pack has grown!! I'm going to search for some pics of your guys. Is that Bruno is see in the picture??

    This new format is a little easier the more I use it. I think I'm gonna like it.

    I see i-dog hasn't changed a bit--I believe when I left a few years ago, we were all up in arms about some annoying stuff that "divided the community" and a lot of people left. We had a few days of "I'm mad, I'm leaving, I'm never coming back" and lots of headaches for the then-moderator, and it all blew over. So in a few days I'm hoping the current firestorm will cease. I-dog is so much more pleasant when we're all trying to get along! [:D] (love these new smileys!!!)
