What I've been busy with: artwork!!!

Thought I'd share my latest commissioned work. Its part 1 of 2 commissions of this dog. The woman wanted her weim painted as a puppy and now at a year old. They're 4"x6". I'm really happy with how this one turned out. The photograph was really nice to work from and her eyes really were that blue! Sigh, nothing like a weim puppy....

Okay, and the bunch to follow are something I just discovered on ebay. They're called ACEO's(art cards editions and originals). Basically they're like trading cards.

eople buy these mini painting(2.5"x3.5";) and collect them like baseball cards. They're actually kind of neat because its affordable art. And there so much variety from animals, to houses, to nudes, to abstract and collage, etc. Its really so much fun. I've been selling them on ebay for about a month and a half. I've done okay considering there's so many people out there selling them. Just thought I'd share some that I've done.

Emily - Again I am amazed and soooo impressed with your work. What great talent you have! I think the mini-artwork cards sound like a great idea and although I can't begin to imagine doing artwork that small, I'll bet it's a lot of fun.

Oh Em, I am in awe of your talent! There is a girl that works in my office and she is sooooo into the ACEO cards I hope she sees your toy fox terrier, I think that's what her puppy is

Deb, send her my link in my signiature. I took a ton of pictures of one at an obedience club match, so I plan on doing more! Unfortunately, the one I posted already sold. But I plan to do one from this picture soon( i love them, they have so much spunk):
