• A quick brag Xerxes Posted : 7/15/2006 9:32:10 PM Xerxes showed for the first time today.  It was like 90 degrees and the humidity was horrible.  He took class and breed (shhhh don't tell anyone that he was the only PH-he loves his ribbons)  Group was late in the afternoon and the judge never looked our way.  But I wasn't expecting anything-it's my first time with him in the ring. I'm proudest of him because he didn't pay even the slightest bit of attention to the dogs surrounding him. We're going back tomorrow, I'm hoping he takes breed again. I love going to dog shows, my husband and I are always interested to see what unique breeds will show up (and of course, DH always has to see the corgis, as he had them as a kid and has a soft spot for them. []) I've been meaning to tell you what a gorgeous dog Xerxes is...PHs are such an eye-catching breed.
