Is they are updated on all their shots then there shouldnt be no prob! My girl has been to the beach almost everyday since she was younger then your baby and its her favorite place to be.
I have noticed that people are less likely to follwo leash laws on the beach so keep a eye out.
Sand fleas are a pain, they are a littelebigger but you'll want to bath all that sand and salt water off anyways.
Most puppies dont take to the ocean to quickly but if your pup goes diving into the waves I'd say keep them out of it since they are so small and could get swept away really easy or causght in the under tow, although its awesome fi they take a liking to it so when they get bigger they can fetch balls from the waves.
Try not to force going in the water on them or they could grow fearful and if you have a umbrella maybe bring that and stick it in the sand for shade.
And always look ahead for dead animals, you dont want them knawing on a icky carcass!
Other then that I'm not too cautious about the beach, its such a joy for them to feel the air, smell the breeze and have the sand under their feet. If we get to the beach early enough and there isnt anyone else there I let her off leash and she does zoomies all over the place, its very exhilerating for them.....dont forget to take pics!
