• tashakota Posted : 7/14/2006 7:22:38 AM They probably got the dog as a puppy because they are such beautiful dogs and it would be a status symbol for them.  Then when the peeing inside got too bad, they banned it to outside.  People with kids just don't realize that the puppy they just got is going to  need as much time as their kids do.  You can't just not potty train your kid!  Sheesh... Now, there's a good idea!  The poor guy was probably an impulse buy.  That is how I ended up with Joey.  His first owners said he was impossible to house train - they didn't give him much of a chance because they tied him outside at 4 months.  But atleast they knew that wasn't the best for him and found him a new home with another idiot - that I took him from. • nyiceprincess Posted : 7/14/2006 8:35:21 PM If its anything like it is here theres nothing that can be done unless the dog gets sick.Even then its hard to get anyone to do anything.About 4 moths ago we found a litter of pups that had been born in thier moms dog house outside in the middle of February.( its around 30 below zero here) the were born there and left to fend for themselves.When they got old enough to walk and run they were constantly running in the road and 3 had been killed.Animal controll was called 3 times but since they had moms dog house,moms water and some day old bread strewn about on top of thier poop.they would nt do anything.There is no leash law out here in the country.
