puppy is sick

He has diarrhea and threw up twice mostly grass. I am giving him probiotics. He is acting fine. But now he has really bad gas is there anything else I can give to him for it, his little stomach keeps rumbling.

I would hold off on food for 24 hours to let his digestive tract clear out. You can give him some Pepto too.

I agree. Watch him for the next day to see if he starts to return to normal. He may have just eaten something funny that upset his stomach. I give my guys a little bit of pumpkin (pure pumpkin, not pie filling) and it clears up their diarrhea very quickly.

Thanks, how much pepto, or pumpkin?
he's 5 1/2 months old and around 8 pounds

I'm not sure on the Pepto, I've never used it. But I'd say maybe start with a teaspoon of pumpkin. It won't hurt him and you should see results very quickly.

Thanks so much, I'm going to the store and i'll pick some up. He seems to be doing a little better, I gave him chicken and rice for breakfast and he just had some more for dinner. Still a little dirarhea but no gas so far.
