Tank and Shiloh say Hi and welcome from New York....  Would love to see England someday.  Want to see the bling, bling of the crowned jewels.  Our history was yesterday compared to your country.   BTW, your dog is a cutie pie

I imagine everyone on here loves seeing pictures, and of course, me personally I can never see too many poodle pictures! [;)]

Luvlabs (excuse abbreviation!) your dogs look very handsome.  I belong to another dogboard also, and a girl from there who lives in Canada just came to stay with me last week.  So save up your money and come see the bling!

Thanks everyone for being so welcoming.[:)]

Hi and welcome! Gulliver's baby pic is too cute.

Largely Americans and Canadians on here and probably less concerned with "the polite thing to do"  -- that's not a condemnation of anyone, it's just the way it is.  My husband is British (a Scot, but he lived in Buckinghamshire when we met 10 years ago) and he and I talk all the time about all the differences ... particularly in language.   The internet may use "English" primarily as communication, but that doesn't mean everyone's defnition for words is the same ... EVEN across the States.

So welcome -- no one minded at all that you jumped right in -- in fact, it IS the way it is done and no one thought less of you at all.  You have a beautiful dog.  You'll soon get to know all of ours.  Take care -- and again, Welcome!!

Hi Callie.  I spent several years in Canada (mostly Ottawa, Ontario and LOVED it).  I did find it much more relaxed.  Like you say, not better or worse, just different.  I remember offering ppl a Lifesaver candy and they'd say "sure".  I thought that was so rude, to not say "thank you", until I got used to it.  But there again, I say "excuse me" when I bump into a lampost! [8|]  Anyways, I'm glad I didn't offend anyone here.

Hello and welcome! Gulliver is adorable, looking forward to seeing more pictures. ( BTW I love his name )

We left Ottawa last year ( lived there for 3 years) I am an American married to a Canadian with British parents who live in Wales. We try and make it to the UK several times a year... Not too terribly difficult, considering it is just a hop, skip, and jump ( or rather a channels length away)  while we're living here in Belgium.

Welcome, Laura.  Gulliver is gorgeous.  We don't really have an *introduction section* so General Q & A or Anything & Everything would be the perfect place.
