The drive up was too long, I took a different way than originally planned. What can I say, old map...
. the roads were washboard pavement just about all the way, and then when I reached the city, the signs were just awful. When you were able to locate the road sign it basically just showed which hwy you were on, many of them didn't say which direction , or to hicktown <--- etc. I was running out of time and couldn't find the shelter. So I stopped the car in tears fearing I was too late, and got directions and wrote them down. Turned out I was almost on top of it...I was relieved and aggravated .
And when I got there and got this angel....and looked into those eyes in that sweet face.....it was sooo very worthwhile....She was such a doll and had perfect manners and so sweet. The shelter had listed her as sheltie mix, the rescue she is in lists her as a border collie mix, I think she's a brittany mix....
