    Nikon Camera Question

Ok so my camera has decided to really not preform how I want it to, so I'm in the market for a new one. I am well aware nikon is the way to go from all the chat around here. My question is which one to get!? Budget is really not a problem but I would prefer to stay in the 5-600$ range or so. My pictures will mostly be of our pets and DH playing soccer, as well as the team of girls he coaches, a lot of action pictures! If someone could be so kind as to point me in the right direction as far as which one would be best for my needs I would really appreciate it!!

At the end of last year I got the Nikon D3100 and I absolutely love it.   I wanted a camera that  has video capabilities; interchangeable lenses and will allow me to be as basic or as complex a photographer I want to be.  The basic lens that comes with the package is a 18-55mm with auto/manual focus and vibration reduction features.  If I remember correctly, the cost was good at just under $450.00 at Sams Club.  This camera would be great for action shots too.

A few months later, I realized I needed an additional lens for zooming capabilities and opted for the Nikkor 55-300 mm lens, which was a little bit over $300 online.  The lens is heavier, but not much and it does everything I want it to do.

Its possible that the next version is out by now, the D4100.

Nikon also carries a much smaller sized range of camera that I've seen do a very nice job.

I use a D90 I got a few years ago so I haven't looked at cameras since.  My recommendation is that no matter what you get, get it from a reputable company.  If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.  Most Internet sites/deals are selling grey or black market stuff, or they don't actually have it in stock.  I buy from Nikon authorized dealers (Norman Camera, Dell, Best Buy, etc) or online from B&H Photo.  I believe Cameta and Adorama are also reputable online stores.  You may have a local shop that price matches.

Or your neighborhood pawn shop.  Know what you want, do some research, and know price points.  Some pawn shops are really proud of their offerings.

Hello everyone. It's great that I accidentally saw this topic, I chose my current camera for a very long time. Rokii, tell us about your success in conducting live broadcasts? It's so interesting. Personally, I can't do without this site wave.video/.../live-stream-starting-soon-screen The fact is that I initially study the information, and then proceed to practice. The same applies to holding my broadcasts on Instagram and YouTube. The first article I read was about how to make a live stream launch screen. I think this is basic knowledge. It's great that platform specialists have put a lot of work into this blog and I can get answers to all my questions. Moreover, here you can create and record videos.
