    The girls are freaked out by the noise too, but Boomer would have loved it. We chickened out though, where we park is only 100 yards or so away from where they shoot them off and we were worried about the noise. After we get his Mutt Muffs for the airplane we might try them at the fireworks too.

    It almost wasn't any fun for us, we were so close and the wind was just right that debris was literally raining on us. Some pretty good size pieces landed on us and the truck and one flaming piece almost hit a family sitting nearby. I think next year we'll try not to get such good seats. [&:]

    Max stayed home, since we were going to a barbecue at someone elses house and he wasn't invited. [X(] I know he isn't noise sensitive because while we walk through the park a lot of times there are park maintenance workers riding those big noisy lawn movers and leaf blowers, and he just ignores them. I was actually surprised at how many people did bring their dogs to the fireworks - and there didn't seem to be any dogs freaking out - so they must have known their dogs would be OK with the noise.

    We didn't go anywhere to watch fireworks last night, but there were a lot of people setting them off in our neighborhood. Both dogs jumped up and ran around the room at every sound. They're not noise sensitive usually, but they sure didn't like all of the bangs and pops. It was a long night for me, because I couldn't get either of them to settle down.

    ditto! and it went on until after mid-night last night. people in our neighborhood have been celebrating with fire works since father's day. i guess they are happy that it is monday or tuesday or whatever? they really need to give it a rest!
