    Beautiful Weim

Will have some pics later tonight or tomorrow. I am getting ready to go out the door now to go to SC to pick up a male Weim he is beautiful. Have allready 2 possible placements for him. 1 with and allready approved adopter from a local rescue just need to see if the dog and the people are a match and also another rescue has agreed to take him into foster him if the people for whatever reason don't work out. Wish us luck! This is the one pic I have of him.

I bet he'll have a better life. He looks sad out there. (is that a chain he's tied to or just the lighting?)

Good luck! He sure is a cutie!

That is a chain. He is such a sweet boy! We have some potential adopters stoping by in the morning to see him around 8am. I have to go to work so not sure if I will post before I go what the outcome is but they have allready been screened and had a home check done by a fellow rescuer and they had nothing but positive things to say about them and I know the woman who did it so I trust her opinion.

Well the potential adopters that came this am decided against taking Max home. #1 reason they say he isn't purebred. I actually spoke to the original owners today who they said they adopted him out in 2002 to and elderly couple and had no idea they didn't still have them and also didn't know how he ended up in the city he was in I picked him up from. He also told me that he was purebred because they got him from breeding. So needless to say Max is still searching for a home. Here are a couple more pics not the best but will get more maybe tomorrow.

Trying to get him into the vets soon if I can. Hopefully a rescue is going to help me out with the finances if so through a rescue I can get him completely vetted vaccines, neuter, hw tested, and microchipped for $55.00 and without rescue all of the above for like $75.00 Great price but I am strapped for cash at the moment. On the positive side I did get a job. Wish me luck[:D]

Well to be totally honest him and Sasha act as if they want to kill eachother if they even see one another. He wants to eat our kitty but he does like Jake, but than who could resist that cute little face. He is Great with people! Not so great with house manners peeing but he is not neutered either. Unfortunately right now even if I don't agree with it as a long term way to keep your dog or any dog he stays outside on the run when I go to bed and when I need to work. If you crate him in the house he will just pee all over well in the crate and than he also HATES being crated so he will hurt his  mouth by trying to chew through the crate. I did have him in a  10'x10'x6' kennel outside when gone but that didn't work either. He broke the chain link loose from the bottom and almost got stuck. He is really in need of someone that can spen some time with him and teach him. He is good in the house aslong as I keep him leashed and with me.  Let's just pray that things work out for the rescue to place him in a foster home. See when I went to get him I was told that if he wasn't adopted by the couple who came to see him that a this group would take him in now they say that they don't have room for him. So we are doing the best we can for all involved. More pics will be posted in the Photo section.

Hey Garrett, just wondering if you had been in touch with a local weimaraner rescue.  They might be able to help match him up with people already looking for a dog. Especially since he sounds like he only has a few issues to work through.  Also, I'm not sure which kind of crate you're using. If you're using a wire crate and he doesn't like it you might try a vari-kennel.  It looks most like what he was used to at his old place.  Also, does he have papers?  Have you contacted the "breeder" he came from. If they are responsible breeders they most definitely will want him back to place themselves. Though its not likely that he comes from a responsible breeder, but hey you never know.  And he's 100% weimaraner. I don't know what the original people who looked at him were expecting? His tail is a little short, but that's due to a poorly done docking procedure(which makes me think he doesn't come from a good breeder).  Just some thoughts to try to help out.  What a wonderful thing you are doing though. Thanks!
