I have a crib mattress that I bought at a yard sale for $3.  Two dogs can use it at the same time!

Romeo, loves his donut bed by Bowser's products, only if I put a fitted sheet over it though.

I ordered that snuggle ball bed for my 40 pound bulldog and she could not climb on it, it was too tall.  If your dog has short legs or arthritic short legs it wont work. I had to return it, after i used it a coulpe of times myself!!

I buy the foam w/ backs zippered w/ fleece round beds, I have one in every room and 2 in the SUV.  However, my bulldog, "nests" in it by scrtatching and ruins the foam and I have to throw them away too soon.

My Gorden/golden prefers the carpet or a very thin cordoruy bed that I got at BJ's (like Costco) as he likes to stretch his long legs and is hot a lot

Yes, in summer, I put nice cool clean dog sheets in the beds.  Fleece is too hot.

We have three beds that we purchased at Costco and both Lily and Charlie love them!  They are so well priced, and I have seen them as of Saturday still for sale.  Charlie my tzu, is obsessed with his bed and sleeps on it all day.[:)]

I wish mine would sleep in his.  We've bought 2 and he things they are big stuffed toys.  He always scratches at it and bites it.

Cassidy's bed for sleeping on is in my room; it's just a nice soft comforter folded in  half, and I can take it anywhere with her, and throw it in the wash easy, so that's nice. Mirelle right now has a couple of towels and  small blanket in her corner for night. I got an Extra Lagre pillow bed from Farm and Fleet; which is upstairs for daytime use. I got it mostly just for Cassidy ( Mirelle has her crate upstairs which she used to sleep in by herself, but doesn't anymore [>:]) but both dogs like to use that. It's big enough for both of them, but they can't stretch out, and once Mirelle gets bigger there won't be enough room! I should have gotten two, but don't have that much money....[&:] They weren't that expsensive actually, only $30, the cover is washable, the bed is comfy, and they like it [:)]

Murphy has two beds. One is in the living room and the other is in my bedroom. Both look like giant pillows. He won't lay on them without his fleece blankets covering them. [8|]
He also sleeps on the couch and on all the beds.... under the dining room table... basically wherever he wants. LOL

Maisie is going to outgrow her crate (it's the cat's, don't tell her!) so until we get a bigger one she likes, two fluffy towels do just fine..probably not what you were looking for[:-]

I get snoozzys for my dogs.  They are for crates or you can leave them outside the crate and use it as a bed.

They come in many sizes so they can be stacked.  The best part is they can be tossed in the washing machine as is,
no zipper, no fiber fill.  Very convenient and totally confortable.  I get my from Petco.com
