I recently had the need to keep a close eye on Heidi's temperature. I found a thermometer that reads in 8 seconds! Its made by Vicks and is called "SpeedRead" thermometer. Of course, the best feature is that you only need to keep it inside for literally seconds. But, the other cool thing is that it offers color coding as well. Now, of course this only relates to human temperature readings, because dogs run higher. But, if the temp is normal the background of the digital display is green. Mild temp is yellow and high temp shows red.
