I'm new to the forum. Looks like a fun and informative place! I love to talk about my dogs. I have 2 lab mixes, they come from the same mom and dad dog but different litters. They look different from each other and their mom too! Lily looks like their father; as you can see from the last picture Winnie does not look like their mom! However their head shape and facial expressions resemble her. People can't believe it.
Winnie is my first dog, and we got Lily 6 months later. Winnie is the brownish one. They are spoiled as can be. Their mom was owned by the neighbor. We got Winnie at the end of Sept. 2003 and Lily was born Feb '04. I didn't really want to get dogs but my husband insisted. Wow who knew that I could become attached to dogs like I have. Who knew they would have such personalities, watch over me when I was sick, and do such fun things. Who knew I'd end up being such a softy over a couple pooches!
I wanted to include some photos; they are a bit blurry and I like to think of myself as a better photographer than that but SHEESH they don't hold still long enough for me! They pose so cute, and as I aim the camera they take off. I can't tell you how many photos I got of doggy butts running away from me.
