Puppia Harness sizing?

I'm putting in an Amazon order and need to find one more thing to get the super saver shipping. I'd like to get a harness for my new puppy (I gave Nikon's away). I like the Puppia's but have no idea which size is appropriate for a 7-10 week old German Shepherd. They have a very elaborate sizing chart but I don't know the measurements for a GSD puppy. Nikon has an adult sized Puppia and I think it's XL.

Anyone have a guess? Or, if you have any other recommendations for a good harness for a bitty puppy? I like to use a harness until the puppy is OK wearing a collar and leash and not getting accidentally jerked around.

I'd go with a Lupine harness - the "even if chewed" guarantee is priceless with a pup. I prefer their Roman (H-back) style.

That's usually around the chest.

If it helps, my 13-15 lb dogs have 17-18 inch chests, and Emma, the 20 lb dog, had a 21 inch chest. Those are adult weights, and puppies are usually a little lighter in comparison to their measurements.I'd get a pretty little one, to start with:)

Around the chest meaning around the ribcage, or across the front?

Chest measurements are the circumference of the chest measured from behind the underarms or the widest part of the chest.

I ended up getting a simple H-style harness. I found a pet store with the Puppias and they had plenty in Pan's size but the fit was not good for a GSD even his size/age. I wanted something that would be appropriate for puppy "bitework" (which is just playing with a rag or flirtpole) but the Puppia clipped too high on the wither and the front part came up too high on the chest (would cut into the trachea if the dog was pulling).
