I'm thankful the rescue group knew which person was involved and responded so quickly. I replied to say they've put many minds at ease.
I hope the dog survived - the message could be interpreted either way. However, the line that "
One of the office person there took the dog in." makes me hopeful. Either way, the dog received medical attention and made it into the hands of caring/responsible folks. So sad....
If you're dog is a pet with no intentions of serious/careful/responsible breeding, then get is SPAYED!! A shelter near her in CA (furryfriendsrescue.org) offers links to information on low-cost and FREE spay/neuter clinics in their area. No excuses!
