    PLaque on incisor tooth

Since I got Zoe last May, I have been giving her rec bones once a week or so but her incisors still have plaque at the top.  I tried getting a pic but she would have no part of that hehe.  Any ideas for how to get rid of the yellow stuff up at the top of the pointy tooth?  The rest of her teeth are a nice sparkling white.   Also, forgot... I do brush her teeth too, but that doesn't seem to help.

Well, you can brush her teeth, but first I'd take her to a dental vet and have them totally cleaned and inspect her teeth. It's a good thing to do, and can avoid more serious stuff down the line.

They probably need to be scaled by a vet. I had to have Teenie's cleaned, when I got her. It seems that Dachshunds are prone to tartar. I'm working on keeping Teenie's up with RMBs, and I guess we'll see how it goes. It's NOT enough for every dog. Certain breeds (Shelties, in particular) are prone to dental problems, and each mouth is shaped differently, not to mention that each dog chews in it's own way.
