    easy way to make temporary tag

    Next week bf and I will be going on a cruise.  My parents in NJ will be watching Zoe.  I want her to have a tag with their info since calling my cell phone will do no good while I am on the cruise and unable to check my messages.  Does anyone have an easy way to make a temporary tag I can add to her collar?

    At the walmart by our house they have one of those pet id tag machines, and its only $4.  You could get one of those made... or petsmart has the same thing but theyre more there.

    I agree. Walmart or Petsmart's tag machines would be a good place to go.

    A cheapo tag is a good idea.  

    I also keep a stash of paper tags for temporary IDs.  You buy them in the office supply section, and I cannot remember what they are called, but they're paper disks ringed with metal with a loop.  They look just like dog tags made out of thick paper.

    Anyway, I wrap one of those in packing tape after writing the temporary info on it.  It lasts a couple weeks.
