Please help my cat!

My cat is suffering from Peritonitis and I just lost my job. I still need about $200 for my cat's medical treatment. Please do me a favour and sign-up for this free to join paid survey program. For every new sign-up, I will receive $1 and you will be paid $20/survey filled. Thank you!

Maybe I am wrong in thinking or saying this but I'm going to say it anyways. I just can't stand when someone posts messages asking for money as there first post from joining. I mean I know that people may really need help and thats fine and really okay to ask for it but why not atleast introduce yourself some and kinda get a feel for the board. Maybe explain the situation and than leave it upto the other members to decide if they want to donate money to help. Alot of times when I see post of this type, my first thought is the person is just looking for a way to have someone give them money. Sorry if I make anyone mad by saying this but I felt I needed to. If this posters cat is Honestly sick and suffering my intentions are not to cause you more pain than you are allready going through and I pray that your cat does get the care that every suffering animal deserves.

I completely agree with you garrettandpaul and couldn't have said it any better myself. The one thing I do know is that as far as those online surveys that claim that they will

ay you for completing them, usually have certain screening questions that you have to be eligible for and then once you complete the survey you are entered into a DRAWING!!! I have learned that nothing is that cut and dry when it comes to earning money especially online. I too hope the cat gets the medical treatment they deserve if there really is something wrong but I think very few people will be joining just by the way it was asked for. Hope I didn'tmake anyone mad but just like previous poster I felt that it had to be said.

Yes, several things bothered me about this, and I was online when the OP posted late last night.

1.First post, and a profile with nothing but a name.

2. A sad story with a plea for money that included

3. A commercial link. And my long online experience tells me that there are NO survey places that pay anymore. Long ago they did, but they are mainly spam mills now.

So while I may be wrong, my suspicion is that there is no cat at all, but rather someone who thinks he/she can make some money off us.

If I'm wrong, well, then that's good!

My thought was even if there is a cat.. I could think of much better and faster ways to raise money for much needed health care than to post links to surveys that no one wants to fill out anyway so they can get a bunch of junk in their email box, etc.

I didn't post here when I first saw it, but did forward the post immediately to Jaime so she would be sure to see it and remove the link.

I'm pretty sure that there are organizations who can help this animal, and I believe Anne would have the links for them.

I agree, I have enough junk mail in my inbox without inviting more.
