Hey guys,
Just wanted to say that Daisy is going in to flush out her tear ducts (they are clogged). She's going to go under anesthesia (Telazol induction then Isolfurine for matinence). She had been getting reoccuring eye infections for the past two months, so we thought we'd give this a shot to see if it helps. Vet did a flourecent drop thing to her eye to see if it would drip down into her nose, and not a single drop did so she's 100% clogged.
They are doing pre-anestheisa bloodwork before the surgery.
They say it's less invasive than a spay, but I'm still a nervous wreck. I guess I would be with any surgery she'd have to have.
Anybody have this done on their dogs? Did it last long?
Like I said- I'm looking for reassurance. Please?
Send warm wishes her way tomorrow. I will update tomorrow on how it went.
