I used to feed it to my foster dogs to give them a boost when they got out of the shelter.  I rarely fed it to my dog, though, because it was expensive and his diet was already pretty good.  I never noticed any incredible changes and the flaxseeds can give some dogs terrible gas, but it's not a bad product.

I'm hesitant to supplement a puppy, though.  A good quality food should provide everything that your puppy needs and it's possible to oversupplement.  If you feel supplementation is necessary after 9-12 months, then you can add something.

I used missing link when Marley was a year. I did notice that his stools became firmer (sp? Is that a word?). Anyway, I'm phasing it out now and using Canine Wholistic Complete. I liked the ingredients better. I would wait though :)

We used to give it to Talus when he was on bagged dog food,
but since we homecooked, he doesn't get it anymore....
it has good ingredients and is good for growing puppies...

I used to give it to mine but didnt notice a big change in their health or coat, as they were already great and getting a lot of nutrition from their regular food. However, in my opinion, I would wait until your doggie gets a bit older for supplements of that kind.
