Nova Scotia Question

Hey all you Canadian idoggers, I have a question. I recently heard someone mention a place in Nova Scotia where the tide makes a noise that some call Mother Nature's Voice. He said it's like this giant sucking sound when the tide goes out? Does anyone know what he's talking about? I tried googling it but didn't really find what I'm looking for.

I've heard some pretty strange sounds in and around the Bay of Fundy but have never heard of something refered to as Mother Natures Voice.

The horizontal tidal effects are impressive to say the least and in some places are up to 3-4 miles out!!!! If it's tide related then this is probably it. I think this is in the Minas Basin.

There's also the worlds second largest wirlpool in or near the bay of fundy that makes some cool noise...so I hear...but I have yet to see this.

ALSO, the tide comes IN so fast that it can cause what's called a tidal bore where the water ruches up river like a wave!

The last two aren't related to the tide going "out" though so probably no them.

*smile* I was gonna say if ANYBUDDY knows it would be Johnny!! He's FRUM they-ahhhhh (is my made-up southern accent credible??? I've only lived i Floor-da 24 years now -- *grin*)

He's the only person I've ever *known* from Nova Scotia!!

Giant sucking sound? LMBO. I dunno, I mean, I always pictured Mother Nature's Voice as more like Sharon Stone's or Minnie Drivers...but...okay.

I've been pretty drunk up near the Bay when I was in school and I suppose I may of heard Mother Natures voice on occasion! LOL

One too many beach parties there!

Doesn't mother nature sing most of the time?

Gina, I kinda wondered why sucking would be Mother Nature's voice but I wasn't going to play that game with this fella. Embarrassed
