I won't. Not to worry. It is frustrating how this dx has been treated as an excuse rather than a 'real' health issue. His brain does not work quite right, it's a fact. Gluten and red dye make his behavior MUCH worse. they wanted me to work with them on making his behavior better. I am holding up my end of the 'bargain' they need to take their end seriously.
I had a conference with his teacher yesterday about the seriousness of his food issues. I gave her a letter from his doctor which specified exactly which foods he is intolerant to, so hopefully it will be at the front of her mind whenever someone else brings in a food he can't have.
We are still strongly considering home/charter schooling him and his sister, not only for his adhd but also for military- moving... DD would start kindergarten Aug '11 and have to move that december.
