    self wash and dry place...

I took Toots to one today instead of the groomers. We walked in and the girl working said shes never seen a black corgi before. Do you live under a rock? Then she went on to ask if thats a "rare" color. Umm no. On to the bath, as You know corgis have an undercoat. There was hair every where! They clean up for you too. I tipped her $10 and apologized for the mess. She said shes never seen that amount of hair come off such a little dog. I'll never do it myself again. I'd rather pay the groomer for that mess.

I've honestly never seen a corgi with her coloring, then again I've only ever seen one in person in my life. Love her coloring though! I've never went to one of those self wash and dry places before are they worth it? Haha! Bet you could make a second dog with all that fur, huh? :P Do we get some pics of your freshly groomed pup? I think we should!

Simba will want everyone's attention when there, HAHA! I'll check out to see if there's any near me. :)

I take Max to one.  Our Burton's pet store has one.  Its cheap, $12, and I can blow out his undercoat wonderfully without getting fur all over my house.  I love it.  Benny and Finn I just do at home, much easier with them, but with Max's undercoat it is well worth the $12.

I found one! http://www.barksnbubblesli.com/22.html I mean I can just wash him in my shower but I'll probably take him here for more socialization and to get used to different places. :)

LOL Corgis are WORK! It's amazing, the amount of hair, isn't it??? I'm shocked, every time I see it.

I wash the Misha-dog at a self-service dog wash. Paying $10-$12 to wash him myself is a lot better than $60-$90 for someone else to do just as good a job and to trim him wrong.

    But... I don't tip at self-service... should I?

I wouldn't usually tip, but if you would've seen the amount of hair, you would have. Jennie, it shocks me everytime too! Now that the undercoat is loose, I'll have to do another Zoom Groom session.

I used to always do Aesop at one. We still do when we're too busy to do the cleanup at home. But since we have a forced air dryer now, we only have to go to the dog wash once in awhile :)
