Sorry, I'm with Ron lol toss it and buy a new one. lol

I burn things sooo bad on my pans lol when I read you were cooking sausages, I cringed.  I am SO BAD at cooking those, to the point that one time the smoke detectors on both the ground floor AND the second floor went off! lol

 

Well, I'm sure that, had I not opened the kitchen window, mine would have gone off in a couple of more seconds.  As it was, my neighbors probably just thought that crazy lady next door was burning sage again;-)

 I use a product called Bar Keeper's Friend for cleaning and polishing stainless steel...including my sink.  It does a good job at getting discolorations out.

I love, love love Bar Keepers's Friend.  I use it to clean my stainless steel sink and my white formica countertops. 

 is saw somewhere once that you could simmer some coca cola in a pan to get the burnt stuff off.

I have a pan that I use just for making crepes and nothing but crepes.I do it about 4 times a year and make a huge batch to freeze. I baby the dang thing since I turn the them with my fingers, so keeping it clean and stick free is my goal.

Glenda, Mel used to be the same way about his pots and pans.  He'd buy a pretty expensive pan, then tell me it wasn't supposed to go in the dishwasher.  I'd say "Fine.  But you need to wash it, dry it and put it away when you use it because if I find it sitting dirty on top of the stove, it's going in the dishwasher."  He finally came around to my way of thinking ... go to Wally and get a cheap pan.
