Hi Ron!! Bike Week is wrapping up tonight and I've been thinking about you and your hairy legs LOL. It's sad, most of the businesses are reporting that it's been the least profitable Bike Week ever - the weather was bad and a lot of them camp out, so I think a bunch went home early.

I have HS friends posting their pics from Bike Week, and it did look slow. (Although still slutty. My lord, this woman I know is a mother of teenagers and works at a university and the outfit she was wearing.. wheeew! My lord. You could look down her top and see her kneecaps!)

Ahh, at least it's not as big as when I was in HS and MTV used to come down and set up shop, then BET with Black Spring Break, too.

Oh no Paige, we're in luck! MTV is talking about coming back here next year. Well, not here, Daytona, but still. Apparently all of the Florida beaches are supposed to have big Spring Breaks, because all the rich parents are too broke to fund trips to Cancun and whatnot, so FL is cheaper.

LOL @ Black Spring Break - they called it Black College Reunion up until the last few years, and then the last year I remember it being really 'big', someone was shot and killed at the Burger King on A1A up in Daytona. After that incident I think the city stopped sponsoring the event.

Well, when it first started in Daytona, the locals and participants called it BSB. I'm thinking BET is the one who chose the "new name", since you can still google the original and come up with a bunch of NSFW vids! Eek! That's awful about the shooting. Daytona was a mess for months on end between all of the events from Race Week on, but the Spring Breakers were the ones who left foul messes in hotel rooms and launched themselves from balconies into pools - or the pool patios, depending on their aim. It was very bad. But of course we used to skip school to go up and watch the MTV stuff, and *try* to participate in the evening events.
