I'm GLAD you don't have Chron's.  Dearheart you do NOT need Chron's -- it's auto-immune which means life-altering steroids and steroild-like drugs -- it means a RADICAL adjustment in your food **FOREVER**.

Peopel die of Chron's.  You do NOT want it to be Chron's trust me.  Chron's is NOT fixed with a pill.  Trust me on that one.

I am SO glad you do not have Crohn's. It is a nasty disease. I pray they find something much easier to remedy that is causing your troubles!

Callie, do you know someone who has Crohn's? I have Ulcerative Colitis and did this diet that really helped me in the year after Meri was born. I went off the immuno-suppressants. I stayed on it for a year. After which I stopped it, but still have not needed to get back on the immuno-supressants. So I think healing is definitely possible on this diet. If I maintained the diet long enough it is possible that my system could entirely reset and I wouldn't need the anti-inflammatories. But I have heard that this is more true for people with Crohn's than with Ulcerative Colitis. So if you know someone suffering from it, it might be worth mentioning. I know lots of people who have Crohn's who are on it and no longer need to take meds. The diet is called the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. It is really difficult, but it is definitely worth it to get off the meds.

This is good news, I know the not knowing is stressful but ruling out Chron's is good.  We will just keep those good vibes coming your way for a positive answer!

I am glad that it is not Chron's!

I still suggest going wheat (well, all grains since your stomach is in such bad shape) and dairy free for at least 2 weeks and see how you feel.  A great many people are gluten/casein intolerant and don't even realize it.

Eat meat, veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, healthy oils like olive oil.

Many good thoughts to you and hope you feel better. :)

Callie: Right now I'm the only female on my mom's side of the family that doesn't have it. Lol. So yeah I'm happy about not having it. Thou I am still changing my diet little by little.

I had my first major flare up (pain wise) since diagnosed with lupus and D@MN did it land me on my butt! I was surprised that I made it to work. Thank doG Lacey agreed to work Sandy for me.
